Home

We finally arrived after a hour drive. It was a small two story house with a few small windows in the top floor. It was a white house in what seems to be a safe family subdivision. There was a narrow lawn long winding sidewalk leading up to the porch, and an one car garage was attached to the side. Nothing looked familiar. She thought that she would have memories of this neighborhood, memories of her riding a bake through the streets, memories of her trick-or-treating door to door on Halloween, or building a snowman in the front lawn while it snowed. But there was nothing. Once she went inside she looked around she still couldn't remember anything. She talked to her mom for a while and then suddenly felt over whelmed so she decided she would go to her room. It was then that she realized that this was her house but she didn't even know where her own room was. She felt the need to cry but she held it in until she could ask her mother which way to go then went to her room to see if it could make her remember anything. Her room was pink, very pink. She felt weird looking through all the drawers and threw the closet, lie someone would come in at anytime and bust her. But then she realized this was all hers and nothing would be said. It was that night at dinner her mom asked yet another question. Her mother started off if she wanted to get better and how she was feeling and little simple questions. Then she said, "Alexa honey i wanted to take you to see someone tomorrow. A family friend, Dr. Styron." Alexa thought about it but told her mom what Dr. Fisher from the hospital had told her, that she wouldn't need another checkup for a couple more weeks and that she would get better all by herself. But after thinking about it a little more she figured there wouldn't be any trouble in getting better faster and said that she would go tomorrow to see him.
